Mr. Rappoport concentrates his practice in cross-border mergers and acquisitions and complex commercial transactions. Mr. Rappoport cross-border practice includes the coordination and implementation of multi-country corporate transactions and restructurings outside the Russia as well as counseling Russia multinationals in connection with their international operations. Areas of expertise include legal support to Russian and Western corporations and representation of their interests in various fields of corporate law. Proven experience in dozens of mergers and acquisitions in Russia and abroad. Acted as the head of groups of attorneys providing legal support to major transactions in the construction and development, oil and gas, media and many other industries.

At the invitation of the Government and the State Duma of the Russian participated in drafting various laws as a law expert.

Mr. Rappoport background is investment banking.

From 1995 to 2003, held executive positions in leading US investment banks.

Provided legal support and control for major mergers and acquisitions in Eastern Europe. Took key decisions on issues related to investment projects in Russia, Ukraine and Central Asia.
